The exhibition Alerta Roja. A la Topa Tolondra* is the unfolding of part of the exhibition Alternative Solutions for an Uncertain Future (Paço Imperial, RJ, 2022), but in a more explosive and visceral way. The gray hooks take center stage as they merge with three-dimensional drawings. The gray and red tones of the amulets contrast with the shadows, creating a harmony in the whole and at the same time a disturbing dispersion. This exhibition seeks to draw attention to the contradictions of a world in "stumbling". The color red and its symbolic charge was used as a new skin, just as snakes go through the process of ecdysis or moulting, the work is also alive and changing. The color tone is a blood red, in which I seek a particular vibration, of an ambiguous viscerality, which is contained and alert at the same time.

In the installation, the hooks release and free themselves, expand and occupy even more space. The hooks also bring unusual elements, made of different materials to provoke a playful but also challenging contrast linked to the urgencies of today's world. The installation on display outside the gallery creates a passage for cleansing energies, bringing in the regenerative, protective and healing power of nature.

A exposição Alerta Roja. A la Topa Tolondra* é o desdobramento de parte da exposição Soluções Alternativas para um futuro incerto (Paço Imperial, RJ, 2022), mas de forma mais explosiva e visceral. Os ganchos cinzas ganham protagonismo ao se fundirem com desenhos tridimensionais. As tonalidades cinza e vermelho dos amuletos, contrastam com as sombras, gerando uma harmonia no conjunto e ao mesmo tempo uma inquietante dispersão. A exposição Alerta Roja. A la Topa Tolondra busca chamar atenção das contradições de um mundo em “tropeço”. A cor vermelha e sua carga simbólica foi usada como uma nova pele, assim como as cobras passam pelo processo de ecdise ou muda, a obra também está viva e em transformação. A tonalidade de cor é um vermelho sanguíneo, em que busco uma vibração particular, de uma visceralidade ambígua, que é contida e em alerta ao mesmo tempo.

Na instalação, os ganchos se liberam e se soltam, se expandem e ocupam ainda mais o espaço. Os ganchos também trazem os elementos inusitados, feitos de materiais diversos para provocar um contraste lúdico, mas também contestador ligado às urgências do mundo atual. A instalação exposta na área externa da galeria cria uma passagem de limpeza das energias, trazendo o poder regenerador, de proteção e de cura da natureza.
